Hi all! Hope your Easter weekend was filled with lots of love, sunshine and chocolate. I really enjoyed my weekend! My boyfriend and I finally had the change to spend some time together. Talking about spending time, last Wednesday, I went to the new Expo of MoMu. The exhibition, with the name 'Game Changers, Reinventing the 20th century silhouette' gives its visitors a closer look at all the different silhouettes designers created for the 20th century women. Fashion designers such as Madeleine Vionnet, Coco Chanel and Ann Demeulemeester are presented there. The central figure in the expo is the fashion designer Cristóbal Balenciaga.
"Haute Couture is like an orchestra, whose conductor is Balenciaga. We other couturiers are musicians and we follow the direction he gives." Christion Dior
This beautiful Exhibition unties 100 unique couture and silhouets. I really enjoyed the guided tour, I actually learned a lot, never thought that history would interest me. After the guided tour, me and my friend enjoyed a lovely Cointreau cocktail and a ton of sushi. What a pampering, but we loved it ;)
